Egg Donor Compensation

Along with the appreciation and gratitude from parent(s), donors are given financial compensation for this donation. The compensation amount ranges from $6,500 to $15,000. The amount is based on:

  1. Donor’s history of successful prior donations which led to positive pregnancies.
  2. Egg donor may request a special compensation to be approved by Baby Mason

Usually first time donors begin at $6,500 with increased compensation for subsequent cycles. The compensation rewards egg donors for time, effort and dedication.

In addition to the compensation paid to egg donors, if the egg donor agrees to travel for the donation, all related expenses, including an airline ticket, hotel, ground transportation and a per diem, will be paid for by the recipients. For the retrieval trip, egg donor will be allowed to bring a companion, whose expenses will also be covered. For any additional reimbursement requests, ALL original receipts must be provided in order to receive full reimbursement.

Egg donation is an altruistic act and for many egg donors, the compensation is not the main motivation to donate eggs but rather the participation in giving the miracle of life. We do want to ensure that donors are compensated generously for their time and effort, and our recipients can be rest assured that they are not paying inappropriate compensations.
